About Australia
After independance king Edward VII on 7 may 1908 build and granted Australia a coat of arm which is also called the first coat of arm of Australia.
First Coat of Arm
The first coaf of arm was a simple shield of blue and white which had a cross sign on it, there were six white stars on the cross sign and there were six small shields around the main shield.
Above the shield was a crest containg 7 golden stars of federation on a wreath of white and blue.
The shield itself was supported by a kangaroo and an emu as a fact both of these animals can only move forward so it also symbolises as the country getting better and better.
First National Animal of Australia
After the annoucement of the first coat of arm it was clear that kangaroo is their national animal because it was on their and their coat of arm. Kangaroo was also a symbol for their country.
The animal then begain to appear on their currencies and stamps and on royal Australian airforce aircrafts and so many more things. The animal stayed as their symbol for quite a few years after that the second coat of arm was announced.
Second Coat of Arm
The second coat of arm was announced on 19 September 1912 by king george V. The second coat of arm have a 'blazon' or official description about the commonwealth. The reason for the establishment of the second one was because the first one does not represents the state. It does showed so many represents but it still lacks the some things so they were forced to make another of these.
Description of the Coat of Arm of Australia
- This time the center of shield contains the six stars of Australia.
- The border of shield symbolises federation.
- The shield was held by a red kangaroo amd an emu.
- The animal and the bird was a symbol for the state moving forward beacuse non the these animals can move backwards.
- A seven gold stars were above the shield.
- Six of the stars represents the state the seventh one represents the territories.
- A wreath of blue and gold sits below the commonwealth.
- Australia's loral emblem the animals and birds shows the world 'Australia'.
- There are so many variations of the 1912 arms, the colour one, the four variations of the conventional arms and five variations of stylish arms.

.A box of tasmania (a walking lion) was on shield.
. A box of queensland (a blue maltese cross and a cown) was on it.
. Abox containing victoria (the southern cross).
. Box containing new whales (the cross of St George stars and lion).

. A box showing south Australia with the australian pipping shrike.

second National Animal
As from the second arm it was clear that the red kangaroo is now their national animal and from 1912 till today the red kangaroo is the national animal of Australia.

value of Red Kangaroo to Australia
Despite kangaroo being the national animal of Australia the country still slaughter them as a resource of meat,their government has made it legal to eat their meat.
The kangaroo's number is so high that the kangaroo's oftenly blocks the road beacuse of their high number and thus so many accidents occur so to control their growing number their people slaughters them and uses their meat as a food and their skin to make bag,coat and so many other things.
The government of their country has also made a big industry on this and so the gross income of only this industry is 200$ million dollars for selling kangaroo's meat only.
